Metaphysical Gardens

Living in a very small bubble in Colorado during the pandemic meant I was very  fortunate to be able to escape into nature. As days melded together this became a very  immersive experience. I was able to observe and listen unfettered by time or duty. The  song of the wind through a valley of pines. The way the sunlight danced upon the rocks and the snow. The buzz of bees in a field of wildflowers. The red earth down valley. The grey rocks. The blue bird skies.

I have attempted to re-create my sense of awe for the beauty of this natural world through a series of abstract paintings called the metaphysical garden.
