Elements of Here

Inspired by the abundance of snow here in the Rockies I called this series of  paintings "the elements of here”, I tried to capture the sparkle of sunlight hitting the  snow and experimented extensively with different media, ultimately settling on German glass glitter as capturing my intended usage the best. I named the  paintings after the results on the home water testing strip I used on the snow.
